Hi I'm Bea! I'm from Minneapolis and this summer I am bike-packing through the Pacific Northwest raising money for immigrant legal fees via the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota. I witnessed the ICE occupation of Minneapolis this winter which has left many families burdened with legal fees. These burdens are still prevalent even though the media attention has moved on. Through this fundraiser, I hope to support the people of Minneapolis who make the city beautiful and diverse. This is one way I want to give back to the community that raised me, especially coming from a family of migrant origins. As someone who loves biking across the continent, I am committed to making the migration and movement of all people safer and freer.
