Give to the Max Day 2025

Participation in youth sports has become about grooming the next generation of college and professional athletes.  Youth sports should be about participation, learning new skills, taking risks in a safe and positive environment, being active, interacting with other people and most of all - FUN!

By implementing Youth 1st Environments into youth sports leagues and tournaments, we remind the adults - parents, coaches and fans - about the purpose of youth sports participation:

By working with tournament directors and supervisors of officials, we are able to track and score teams (players, coaches, parents and fans) on their conduct and sportsmanship during competitions.  Teams that receive exemplary scores from the officials are recognized for their ability to compete in a healthy, positive way.

Please consider supporting the mission of Youth 1st with an end of the year gift!  We are expanding the number of Youth 1st Environments in tournament events in 2026 through an enhanced partnership with Register Play.  Your support will help us create additional materials, training videos and additional recognition events.

I just wanted to thank you both for this opportunity for not only my girls, but all the teams that were a part of this experience. The Jordan Hjelmeland 8u team had an absolute BLAST at the game. The girls were so honored to be recognized for their positive attitudes and sportsmanship, which is something we stressed throughout the season. Growing their love of this amazing game was my main goal throughout the season, and this honor helped the girls see that winning is important, yes, but being a steward of the game with a positive attitude is the ultimate goal. Anyway, below is a picture of the team living their best life on the field! And again, thank you both for all your hard work in bringing this event to life. Have a great day! 

Good evening Mark! Wow.....thank you so much for the recognition! The girls are beyond excited to attend! This is a pretty big deal for our little ball team out near the South Dakota border! Everyone is excited, looking for hotel rooms, and how to spend the day before we head to the Twins game!
