Support Valley View Families: Food & Care Fund

The Valley View Elementary PTO is raising funds to provide food and essential care items for families in our school community who are facing immediate hardship.

How funds will be used
All donations will go directly toward:

• Stocking our on-site food pantry with groceries and basic necessities

• Providing food and care items to families experiencing sudden loss of income or increased insecurity

These resources are available to any Valley View family who needs them.

Why this fundraiser is needed now
Our school community is experiencing a significant increase in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity. This has directly impacted families at Valley View, creating fear, instability, and urgent material needs — especially around food access and basic care.

Valley View Elementary welcomes and loves all students, regardless of immigration status. Our responsibility is to ensure that every child and family feels supported, safe, and cared for during this moment.

In response, our school and district are taking thoughtful steps to support families, including coordinating food donations, expanding transportation support, connecting families with trusted community resources, and ensuring students’ safety during arrival and dismissal. The PTO’s role in this effort is to help meet immediate, tangible needs through food and care support.
