Adlyn Loves Pangea World Theater

Pangea World Theater illuminates the human condition, celebrates cultural differences, and promotes human rights by presenting international, multi-disciplinary theater. This is it's mission. Pangea is so very important to me. It is where I work, but it is also my artistic home. 

I've worked as an actor with Pangea for the past 10 years in various productions. I was hired as Office Manager in 2014 and it has changed my life. This is my dream job. Not only am I helping to produce theatrical productions, I'm also engaging in work that is meaningful to me and my surrounding community. Pangea has the value of hiring artists for its staff, so I am surrounded by poets, playwrights, singers every day. It's refreshing to work with these different perspectives. 

Pangea produces relevant work. In this year of so much pain and suffering, Pangea has cut a path in this storm. Our organization has kept EVERYONE on payroll, ensuring that all of us can provide for our families. The majority of theaters in town have furloughed or cut their staff. And we have continued producing work that is relevant to our immediate community, our state, and our nation. Pangea tasked all artist on staff to respond to the murder of Mr. George Floyd and the social uprisings that have ensued since. I produced Mothers Respond, a response to Mr. Floyd calling for his mother. We had a Bombazo with poetry and dance in Powderhorn Park which honored this call.
