Dance It Forward

Minnesota Ballet is dedicated to taking dance beyond the walls of its studio and theater spaces and into the community, to provide youth equitable access to exceptional arts learning and dance education. Our School Outreach Program offers interactive workshops in area elementary schools to get kids moving, laughing, and interested in dance for fun and fitness. Such opportunities support physical, social, and emotional development, to improve educational, community, and wellness outcomes.

"The outreach program through the Minnesota Ballet was afforded to our school at no cost and provided students who would likely not have attended a performance with a chance to expand their knowledge of opportunities that exist with the arts. Through this program their dance company visits area schools performing numbers from their shows. They even make these presentations interactive to get students and teachers up and moving!
