We are raising money for new flooring.
To close out a wonderful year in 2023, Doc’s Recovery House is launching a year-end campaign to raise funds alongside our partners at Bear Creek Development Center, to fund $30,000 in costs associated with replacing carpets and flooring in all five of our recovery houses - over 25,000 square feet.
This campaign will be live on November 15, 2023 and will end on December 31, 2023. Thanks to an anonymous donor, the first $10,000 raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Why is this campaign important?
- Doc’s Recovery House opened the doors to our first recovery house for 14 men on February 1, 2019.
- Since that time, we have grown our capacity, and will be able to serve 65 men and women at a time by January 1, 2024.
- We have served over 700 men and women on their journey to recovery in less than five years.
With these numbers and the impact we have seen our mission achieve, our houses have experienced wear and tear beyond what the buildings were designed to handle.
At Doc’s Recovery House, our mission is one of recovery with dignity. Our goal is to ensure that mission is experienced in our culture, our program, and in our physical spaces as our residents consider Doc’s House ‘home’ for this season of life.
With your help, we hope to raising funds to replace old and damaged carpet with commercial-grade carpet and LVP that can sustain wear and tear and provide comfortable flooring for years to come.
