NYFS is here for you, because of you.  We are a nonprofit, community-based and trauma-informed mental health and community services organization that has been serving your friends and neighbors in the northeastern Saint Paul suburbs since 1976.

Our mission is transforming lives by ensuring access to care that nurtures healing, cultivates community, and inspires hope. Our services include: Mental health therapy in our clinics and partnered schools. Psychological testing and psychiatry for clients to better understand and manage their mental health symptoms. Youth Pathways to help teens learn life skills, community resources and healthy decision making; this includes our Diversion program for non-violent youth offenders to settle their case out side of court. Community Advocates that are partnered with local police to provide resources for community members. Restoring Power program for victim survivors of DV/SA, for safety planning, legal aide, and therapy all provided at no cost to clients.

Nearly half of our clients cannot afford the full cost of their care and we rely on generous donations from individuals and our community to ensure that those who need our help will receive it regardless of financial circumstances.
