We the the goal! AMAZING!
At the time of this update, we've raised $275 more than I thought we could. That's incredible! I'm going to continue to post on Facebook and raise money all night long because every donation enters Commonweal Theatre into Golden Ticket Drawings with rewards worth $500, $1000, and $10000!
And... I'm thinking up something special I could do if I hit $2000 on my page. Make your suggestion on my Facebook page or email or text me your ideas. We'll see what we can come up with!
Thanks for making this campaign a successful one!
I appreciate you so greatly and can't wait to celebrate live theatre in our communities with you again soon.
With your help, we can ensure this is #JustAnIntermission for our industry.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising campaign!
I joined the staff of the Commonweal Theatre in January of 2020. The company and I both expected our year to look and feel different than things ended up, but they brought me onto their staff because the believed in the Administrative and Artistic contributions I could make to their organization. Over the past ten months, I've helped in every way I could, directing a filmed production of Fully Committed, acting in Root River Anthology and Headspace Theatre, creating content for other upcoming releases, serving as the Production Manager, and now I'm raising money.
I believe that art centers like the Commonweal, and the artists who work there, will need people like us to step up and show that we value the arts in our communities. Companies like the Commonweal will need this support to help our industry rebound after this devastating year. Thank you for helping me to ensure that this company, with thirty-three years of history serving its community, can continue its mission of "enriching the common good" and rebuild in the years that come.
Below is a note from Hal Cropp, Producing Artistic Director of the Commonweal. We both thank you for your contribution in any amount. Each donation helps to ensure our regional arts center will rebound in the coming years. Thank you for supporting our cause!
The Commonweal Theatre belongs to you. Our success is defined by the ways in which we are actively serving and connecting with our community. In the current climate, it means helping people simply feel better by relieving stress and anxiety through our storytelling. It means a full company of professional artists being able to reconnect with you in bringing to life the stories that will uplift, challenge, and inspire the entire family for years to come. To that end, we have been grateful to offer you Root River Anthology, Art of the Entertainer, and Fully Committed, with yet still two more shows to come before the end of the year. We hold dearly our connection with you, and we look forward to connecting with you in person again.
Any amount you give today is vitally important and will go a long way towards ensuring that we are here to serve you in the years to come. We care deeply about the people who make our work possible, and your donation will be put to use sustaining our core company of Artist Administrators, therefore ensuring that the Commonweal itself can continue its mission in the years ahead.
Thank you,
Hal Cropp, Producing Artistic Director
