Hermantown Legacy Fund Foundational Campaign

To meet the needs of the Hermantown community and to support our mission to: “Strengthen Hermantown for generations by promoting philanthropic giving for the benefit of our community,” the Hermantown Legacy Fund (HLF) is launching a fundraising campaign to ensure the funds necessary to continue our support of community organizations and our graduating seniors through our grant and scholarship programs. Please consider giving to this effort, which launches on Give to the Max Day 2021 – Thursday, November 18th.

The HLF is seeking various levels of investment by community members and businesses that will ultimately support needs in our community. Previous grants have been awarded to the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Hermantown Volunteer Fire Department, the Hermantown Historical Society, and to the Hermantown Police Department so that they can continue events like National Night Out. HLF also supports the students in the community through afterschool enrichment programs and scholarships for graduating seniors, by awarding the Jackson Club Scholarship and the Kathryn A. Bullyan Scholarship.

Your donation is more important than ever as HLF has had to delay the hosting of the Taste of Hermantown event for two years now because of the pandemic. This very popular and well-attended event serves as a community get-together and will return in 2022. In the meantime, this fundraising campaign will serve as a bridge and build a strong foundation for future HLF giving – strengthening Hermantown for generations! Consider one of the named giving levels below, although all donations, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated!
