Engaging the community through the arts!

As a rising star, Hackensack is rapidly gaining recognition. It is coming to life with a community-friendly waterfront, and it has brought an imperative facelift to the city. With our free  Lakeside Concert Series, we are bringing much-needed joy to the community. In July, world-class drummer Josh Duffee and his Big Band will perform the music of Duke Ellington and Count Bassie with a 2-night show 'Hittin' The Keys', and the Northwoods Art & Book Festival in August will feature award-winning authors and artisans whose art can be an inspiration of hope. There will also be a return of Poetry Safari, a new and popular addition to the Festival this year. Join us in our goal to make Hackensack a vibrant art and music destination!
