We Lift As We Climb

Since our national beginnings in 1977, we continue to promote the intellectual growth and educational development of Black women in higher education. We seek to eliminate racism, sexism, classism, and other social barriers that hinder Black women in higher education from achieving their human potential. We combine mentoring and support with scholarships that give financial support for books, conference registrations and travel to aid our sisters in their educational pursuits.
