The COVID-19 pandemic and civil unrest following the death of George Floyd have exposed deep pain, inequities and opportunity gaps in our communities. The Roseville Area Schools Foundation is committed to working with the school district to achieve its equity vision of an equitable and respectful learning environment for every student, family, and staff member regardless of: race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ability, home or first language, religion, national origin, age, physical appearance. We also seek to:
- Eliminate opportunity gaps.
- Focus on the needs of the whole student, recognizing that learning opportunities do not look the same for everyone.
- Prepare all students for college or meaningful work following high school.
As we head into another school year like no other, we are still focusing on helping families in greatest need. We are also working with the district teachers and staff to find unique ways to reach students with meaningful experiences that go beyond the Zoom classroom.
Of course, to do this, we need your help! Please consider joining us in giving our students the future they deserve.
To learn more about how your support makes a difference, please attend our virtual event on October 28, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Go to http://bit.ly/RASF2020 to register.
