We are moving into our 8th year and are so grateful for your support to not only thrive, but to continue to grow this unique mission of ours!

Our split of the ticket revenue pays for most of the artist & guest's performance fees, but more support is needed to make this live "podcast with a purpose" happen!

Your donations will help underwrite these needs:

- Commissions for original songs and stories by local and national artists

- Paying our part-time staff: research assistant, engineer, editor, running crew, photographer and marketing associate

- Travel Expenses for an out-of-town Artist, or Special Guest

- LIVE Real-Time Captioning available at every performance to celebrate accessibility!

Our Story:

Island of Discarded Women is an audacious, entertaining and empowering LIVE variety show that is all about amplifying women’s voices via powerful stories, humorous social commentary, original music and inspiring guest conversations. Veteran radio actor Sue Scott and her diverse cast of storytellers, singer/songwriters and special guests perform before a lively dinner-club audience at Crooners Supper Club. Each show is recorded and then edited and released as a podcast episode a month later.
