$60,000 goal

Each year, St. Croix Catholic School joins hundreds of Catholic Schools throughout the country in an annual fundraising Marathon. The purpose is twofold: to show the community what forming servant leaders looks like and to raise money in support of this mission. Here at SCCS, we call our effort a "Service Marathon." Our K-8 students are each challenging themselves to 26 acts of service - a full Service Marathon and our preschool students a half Service Marathon (13 acts of service).  Community members are invited to make financial gifts in honor the students' service and in appreciation of SCCS's mission of forming servant leaders.  Proceeds will provide direct support to our Preschool - Grade 8 classrooms.

Below is just a small sampling of the many, many acts of our young servant leaders:

Writing to those serving in the military

Making meals for families in need

Raking leaves and cleaning out gardens for our parish community

Creating personalized lanyards to keep track of face covering and lighten spirits during this difficult time

Shoveling snow from neighbors' driveways

Visiting the elderly

Making cards for our dedicated bus drivers, custodians, school nurses, and many others behind the scenes

Cleaning out closets and donating clothing and other goods no longer needed

Serving at our parish Masses

Picking up litter in our neighborhoods
