Active transportation and living are key parts of the health and sustainability of communities! In order to support this initiative, it is crucial to increase the accessibility of all to be able to use multi-modal methods of transportation.

Having a bike stolen can be crushing for anyone, and especially for a child.  Not having a bike lock is a barrier to be able to safely bike around and has increasingly become an issue as bikes are relatively easy to steal and resell. Help us make the Twin Ports a safer, more accessible place for kids to ride bikes to school, to get around town and to just have fun!

For the month of May as part of our Bus Bike Walk month, our goal is to raise funds for at least 150 locks for bikes to be donated to kids across the Twin Ports. Just $10 can buy a new lock for a child.  These locks are to be distributed through the Bike Cave, Myers-Wilkins Elementary School, Congdon Park Elementary School and the Superior Boys and Girls Club.

Thank you to all of those involved in putting together this fundraiser and all of you who support our work to make the Twin Ports a healthier, more connected community.
