Tim W's - Longest Day of Golf 2021

For the 9th consecutive year, I will be teeing it up from sun-up to sundown in an effort to raise funds for our Veterans.  On Friday, June 11, one of the longest days of the year, Bunker Hills Golf Club is hosting their 9th annual Longest Day of Golf for the Troops.  

“The Longest Day” was a famous book and movie (starring John Wayne) honoring those who fought for our freedom on D-Day (June 6, 1944).  For our military veterans who deal with physical injuries and also PTSD, traumatic brain injuries and other invisible wounds of war, difficult times like this pandemic have intensified the symptoms of anxiety, isolation, and suicidal thoughts.
