The TrekNorth Junior & Senior High School Nordic Ski Team welcomes athletes of all abilities to learn and race in cross country skiing. TrekNorth is a small charter school (240 students) in Bemidji, MN with a population that is 59% free and reduced lunch and 53% students of color. In addition to a MN State High School League sport, Nordic Skiing is a lifelong activity that teaches our students our Trek Traits of honesty, responsibility, resilience, compassion, and motivation.
Though 2020 continues to place new obstacles in front of us, we are committed to providing students the equipment and training they need to learn, grow, and succeed in this activity.
Your contribution helps remove many of the common financial and equipment barriers to Nordic Skiing. No students should be denied the opportunity to ski due to financial barriers. The team uses an equipment rental program to help allow new skiers to try the sport before making a significant commitment to purchasing equipment and help experienced skiers with financial difficulties continue to participate. As our program continues to grow, we need additional uniforms and equipment to share a love of skiing and get kids outside on the trails.
Help us make a difference! With your help, we can keep participation affordable and ensure every student athlete who wants to compete, can.
