Jill Bernard's Travelling Duos

International improv legend Jill Bernard will travel to various homes of local improvisors and perform duos with them from outside their window. Some of them have agreed to this. A few of them even thought it was a good idea!! 7:30am and 1:30pm, tune into youtube.com/hugetheater to see the antics.

We want HUGE Theater to be one of the Arts Organizations that survives this pandemic. 

Improv theaters are closing, worldwide: even the biggies, the groundbreaking institutions that seemed like they’d be around forever. We don’t feel like we’re done. It feels like the work we’ve done toward making improv more accessible, anti-racist, feminist, queer-friendly and inclusive is just the beginning. There is more to do and now is the right time to do it. 

HUGE has survived well so far: cutting expenses to next-to-nothing, getting a PPP loan, an Economic Impact Disaster Loan and some grant support. We’ve kept active: among other things, John’s been sharing on the weekly anti-racism panel and setting up jams and a greenhouse, Rita’s been charming groups and guiding them through online shows. Butch has been working through our financial audit, Sean’s been hustling grant money. I’ve been coordinating a small online workshop program, Breanna’s been getting us up to speed on Discord. We truly believe we can make it. A financial boost from you and your circle of friends would be the boost we need to finish this long stupid hike.
