The Dream Songs Project, mezzo-soprano Alyssa Anderson and guitarist Joseph Spoelstra, is a duo dedicated to sharing and growing the repertoire for voice and guitar by working with creators of new music.
Thank you for supporting our work with a donation!
Over the years we've commissioned many great new works for voice and guitar by MN-based and -adjacent composers, and now we'd like to get those songs out to a broader audience by recording them!
We're very grateful for all of the support our friends have shown us over the years.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RECORD?
Here are some of the non-performer/composer expenses for the recording of commissioned works:
$225-$400- venue rental (x3 days)
$1200- recording engineer fees
$800- editing, mixing, and mastering fees
TOTAL - $2675-$3200
