A World Without Homelessness

Update posted 4 years ago

3:25pm- We're thrilled to announce we've reached our campaign goal. Help us dream big about a world without homelessness by continuing to Give to the Max and surround the many families in need of housing and support this holiday season.
Your gifts matter and will be put to good use as we shelter families and provide support and services including temporary housing, rental assistance, vocational support, care and basic needs.
Again, your partnership helps make all of this possible. Thank you for sharing in this mission and ministry with us.

St. Andrew's Community Resource Center provides help, hope and healing for neighbors in need in Suburban Ramsey and Washington County, Minnesota.

We're raising money for our Thanksgiving Drive to support families and children in need.

Last year 2,300+ children and adults facing homelessness or in crisis sought help from the Community Resource Center. We are often told that we are their last hope.

Guests are provided with immediate help with life's basic needs, such as emergency shelter, rental assistance, food, coats/clothing, blankets, basic household items, case management, computers and internet access for housing and/or job search and connection to other resources in the community to stabilize their situation.

We serve families and children from Washington County and four Ramsey County School Districts. That means we are the resource center for families in crisis of 8 school districts. Although most families in our shelter program are able to move into more permanent housing within 62 days, some families stay with us 3 - 6 months. Many of these hardworking families just needed a little extra time to increase their working hours or get a second part-time job, save up for the rental deposit, obtain certifications to increase earning potential or to learn necessary skills, such as budgeting, landlord/tenant training and to build life skills.

Our goal is to provide families from our emergency shelter program with the blessing of a sustainable place to call home, as soon as they obtain employment. 90% of our families that complete our program have stable housing upon exiting our program.

Your gift will be life-changing for a family and helps all of our community to thrive.
