Will Work for Recovery recognizes that for those in recovery - "If our recovery doesn't come first, everything we love will come last."
The goal of Will Work for Recovery's program is designed to provide a space for individuals in recovery to convene in a community space with access to meaningful events. We are located in North Minneapolis and a majority of those served are BIPOC. In addition to holding our regular meetings, the Event program will host local music, community dinners, game nights, and movie nights in a supportive and safe environment. We have operated for five years with volunteer support only. The funds raised here will be used to pay for the cost of hosting the events and pay stipends as an incentive for our own community members to have pride in creating and hosting events.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Give to the Max Day.
We request support from the community at large and especially those whose lives have been affected by substance abuse.
Please help us keep this important, impactful, and growing organization open and developing to help those in recovery, stay in recovery. We are a Minnesota 501c(3) organization.
