Thank you for visiting my fundraising campaign! As a board member of the Commonweal Theatre, I hope you will join me in supporting the mission of this vibrant, professional arts-making company located in SE Minnesota's Historic Bluff Country. My favorite thing about the Commonweal is the professionalism brought to the stage for every performance whether it is a comedy, drama or musical.  I've enjoyed the relationships cultivated at the Commonweal where the artists treat you like family. Sadly, we cannot safely enjoy theatre in their beautiful facility right now. But the Commonweal resident ensemble continues to provide storytelling in a new way until they can get back on stage. Thankfully, they have made productions available to stream directly into the comfort of my home like the most recent production of Fully Committed. 

It has been amazing to watch the Commonweal grow in their artistic endeavors the past thirty-one years. I'm proud to have the Commonweal Theatre a part of our beautiful community and region to continue its mission of "enriching the common good".

The Commonweal Theatre belongs to you. Our success is defined by the ways in which we are actively serving and connecting with our community. In the current climate, it means helping people simply feel better by relieving stress and anxiety through our storytelling. It means a full company of professional artists being able to reconnect with you in bringing to life the stories that will uplift, challenge, and inspire the entire family for years to come. To that end, we have been grateful to offer you Root River Anthology, Art of the Entertainer, and Fully Committed, with yet still two more shows to come before the end of the year. We hold dearly our connection with you, and we look forward to connecting with you in person again.
