Consider donating to the Tangletown Neighborhood Association (TNA) during our Neighborhood Day Fundraiser, now through May 19, 2025. Minneapolis started Neighborhood Day to celebrate the work of its 70+ neighborhood organizations and their role in community building and to encourage residents and business owners to get involved in the work of their neighborhood organizations.
This year, Tangletown is joining other Minneapolis neighborhoods to highlight our work and raise the funds needed to continue to provide the events and communications that neighbors love. We have set a goal of raising $2,000. TNA will use the money raised to help pay for programs such as our Winter Fest and Summer Party community building events, to deliver Welcome Bags to new residents, and for costs associated with our neighborhood communications, including the Tangletown News e-newsletter, the South Nicollet News newsletter delivered to all Tangletown residences, and our tangletown.org website.
If you attended one of our community building events, learned something new at one of our education events, or appreciate receiving our neighborhood communications, please consider donating to help us continue this work. A donation of:
- $20 covers the cost of a Tangletown welcome bag and printed resources delivered to a new Tangletown neighbor
- $50 pays for translating one issue of Tangletown's South Nicollet News articles from English into Spanish, increasing access to our programs and events
- $100 pays for 3-months of our e-newsletter platform subscription, allowing us to send monthly communications and our quarterly Sustainability Sam e-news to residents who have subscribed
- $300 covers the fee to hire a fire performer for Winter Fest in February
- $600 covers the rental cost of the bouncy house and obstacle course at our Summer Party & Movie in the Park in July
No donation is too small. Any amount supports your Tangletown Neighborhood Association and our ultra-local community engagement, events, and communications. See what we accomplished in 2024: tangletown.org/year-in-review.
Want to get involved? Consider joining the Tangletown Board, a committee, or volunteering at an event. Join us at Fuller Park on May 19 at 6:30 PM for our Annual Meeting to learn more. There will be treats, socializing, updates from the City of Minneapolis, board elections, and more.
