VGPS 50th Anniversary!

In 1973, a passionate group of residents pledged over $1,000 to establish what is now known as the Valley Grove Preservation Society (VGPS). The non-profit organization made a commitment to protect the cherished landmarks and maintain the churches after the congregation had disbanded. 

50 years later, we're on a mission to raise $7,000 and recreate their remarkable promise in today's dollars. Building on the inspiration of those visionary pioneers, this funding will safeguard the longevity of Valley Grove by supporting website upgrades, window waterproofing, and critical steeple repairs.
