Summit Music

At Summit Music, we believe music and dance have the power to uplift, inspire and bring joy to people of all ages. For senior citizens, the impact of the arts goes beyond mere entertainment. It provides a sense of purpose, belonging and connection to their own community as well as the arts community. Since 2011, Summit Music has offered concert experiences that engage, stimulate and inspire hope. Our program continues to grow, thanks to our supporters and senior community staff who appreciate a connection to so many incredible artists.

Funding the arts is year-round to ensure that these programs are accessible for all. Join us during Early Giving or on November 20! Your support will play a crucial role in bringing live concerts to seniors, enhancing their quality of life through music and connection. In 2024, 33 local professional musicians and dancers brought 193 concerts to 47 senior facilities in 29 cities. Summit Music's 2025 impact is shaping up to be about the same! 

Our goal is $10,000 which will largely support the 2025-26 performances themselves-- offsetting the cost of concerts and sometimes gifting an entire program to a facility that has an especially low budget. Funds also help cover essential behind-the-scenes operational costs, ensuring that we can continue to organize and deliver these enriching experiences. We hope you will consider a gift this year that will create memorable moments through music!
