Music in Plymouth - a beloved community tradition

As a Plymouth Civic League Board Director, I'm proud to promote and carry forward the mission of Music in Plymouth - to bring the community together for an evening of high quality entertainment designed to enrich the lives of our diverse citizenry.

In the summer of 2022, Music in Plymouth celebrated a major milestone – 50 years of a sustained and beloved community tradition. 

Music in Plymouth began with a vision for how we can create civic pride by creating the rituals that bring us together. Its longevity has been sustained thanks to the wide-ranging and long-standing support of more than 100 donors, sponsors and partners – including the City of Plymouth – that contribute annually to its success.

Each year, our community comes together to create this joyful, ephemeral experience. And by continuing that effort year after year, together, we have created an enduring community tradition.
