The Seward Montessori School 2026 Read Around will run February 23 - March 20, 2026!
What is Read Around? The Read Around is our beloved annual read-a-thon and a school-wide celebration of the joy of reading. During this exciting event, Seward students are encouraged to read at home every day, tracking their progress on a Reading Log. It’s a time to foster a love of books and build community through shared stories. Visit Seward Read Around to learn more!
How Can You Support Read Around? All participating students will receive a 2026 Read Around t-shirt, and those who raise $50 or more will be entered into a drawing for additional prizes! We encourage families to donate an amount that not only supports your student but also helps Seward students as a whole. Together, we aim to raise $10,000 to support our school.
Why Donate? Your contribution to Seward Montessori's PTA makes a meaningful impact by funding:
-
Read Around Activities, such as:
- Local visiting authors for Children’s House and E1 classrooms
- E2 Writing Workshop with a local author
- Read Around t-shirts for all students meeting daily reading goals
- Classroom books by visiting authors
Classroom Resources, including materials, books, curriculum, headphones, and tools to help teachers and staff excel.
Educator Grants aligned with Seward Montessori's core values.
