Give this Tuesday to Soul Source Foundation

Dear Soul Source Community,

As we celebrate Giving Tuesday today, we want to express our deep gratitude for your support to make Soul Source Foundation’s work possible. 

Whether you are new to our organization, or have been with us since the beginning, we hope you are inspired by the incredible impact you are helping us achieve in partnership with the Rusinga Island community.

Together, in 2025, we: 

• Funded school fees for 40 students, as well as uniforms, a school lunch program, teacher support, college tours, WIFI access, and sanitary pads for girls. 

• Increased our Post-Secondary Scholarship program from 1 to 10 since 2013, so young women can advance their education at college, university, or vocational programs.

• Implement and maintain 2 new holistic and financial empowerment trainings while supporting 9 total groups to help women pool funds for growing their entrepreneurial efforts and building a savings to take care of their families. 

Equally important to what we do, is how we do it. Soul Source Foundation’s programs are locally led by volunteers from the community, ensuring that our work stays grounded in the local knowledge, culture, and strengths of the community.

At a time when global funding cuts have put critical education and empowerment programs at risk in Kenya, we were able to sustain and expand our programs thanks to your generosity in 2024.
