2025 Workshops by Colombian Guest Teachers

 At Colombia Live, we aim to provide a continuous learning of Colombia's rich culture through dance. With all the variety and rich diversity of Colombia's dances the best resources and expertise of Colombian folklore are in Colombia. 

Therefore, workshops have been an excellent avenue to develop our students' dance technique and expand their cultural knowledge by bringing dance teachers from Colombia that specializes in a specific rhythm. 

This year we had two workshops focused on Caribbean rhythms and Joropo which provided an excellent experience to our students and enabled expanding Colombia Live's repertoire. For 2025, we would like to provide two to three workshops to reinforce dance technique and do a deeper dive on the Carribean region dances.
