Give to the Max to feed a Red Lake companion animal!

Due to the COVID pandemic and limited veterinary services, the companion animal population has mushroomed on the Red Lake Reservation.

Our goal for 2024 is to purchase and distribute a pallet of dog food weekly at the Red Lake Animal Wellness Center.

We are asking residents to provide a copay for the pet food received.  Red Lake Rosie's Rescue believes we must all make an investment in our animals by providing food, shelter, water, love, and medical care.   Red Lake Rosie's Rescue will not deprive any needy companion animal or guardian of food in this endeavor.

Your donation will help to purchase a pallet of dog food which costs about $500 (less the copay).  This helps about 24 families every week. Our food shelf in Redby is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Many Red Lake dogs live outdoors year-round and need more food in the winter months to stay warm. Providing good quality pet food is the number one way to improve the health and welfare of our companion animals.

We also provide straw to help insulate outdoor dog enclosures for dogs living outside. A small copay helps to support our program to continue through the winter and spring.

Thank you for your support in providing a consistent schedule of food delivery for the animals we love and care for!
