MM celebrates another successful year of growth and impact. Thank you friends across the world who support us by sharing your time and talents, your ideas, and your generous donations.

This year Music Mission’s programming and community support initiatives reached thousands of artists, arts patrons, students, and festival attendees. Our Lakeside Guitar Festival offered free days of diverse world class arts programming in Saint Paul. We supported schools and students in Minnesota and Mexico with donations towards student scholarships, donated instruments to young artists in rural Mexico, and continued to be of service to those we have supported in the past by assisting with distribution, licensing opportunities, and performances. With support from The Roddick Foundation, we donated thousand of dollars to the Mascogos, an Afro-Mexican community in Coahuila, and are set to premier a documentary on their community in the coming months.

1. Develop a spring event in Minnesota as a pre-cursor to Lakeside Guitar Festival

2. Support a Minnesota partner foundation with an equipment donation

3. Support artists and youth at Los Cabos’ SPACE XMAS original music festival by donating tickets to music students 

4. Continue to provide scholarship support to music school partners

5. Develop a community music festival on Mexico’s Costa Grande, an exchange with Minnesotan and Mexican artists.
