Save The Children - Track Friday 2017 Fundraiser

I'm taking to the track on the day after Thanksgiving for Save the Children and to help turn Black Friday into Track Friday.

I chose Save the Children because wherever crisis strikes, they are among the first to respond and last to leave in the pursuit of safety for children. They believe, like I do, that every child should have the ability to grow up in a safe and happy environment and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

This is my seventh Track Friday event. I like the idea of having some of the money spent on Black Friday go towards charitable causes. And I like coming together with friends on a local track. It reminds me of what I enjoy most about this season: getting together with people I care about and doing something to help others.
