RPAW Wellness Center Play Yard!

The RPAW Animal Wellness Center was created as a place to provide medical care to the special cases that RPAW Rescue cares for everyday. Part of this care is providing the dogs with a place to hang out safely while recovering from many different types of procedures. We want to fence in the area with 6ft Black Chain Link fencing. We would also love to create areas of shade with shade sails as there are no trees in the proposed area. We will need to take down all of the current brush in the area as well as level the yard so it is easily accessed by the animals recovering from orthopedic procedures. Ideally the yard will have lush grass planted and have easy access from both sides of the building to drive vehicles back there. 

This fundraiser is for phase one of the play yard plan. We need to raise the funds for the fencing. We are hoping some local businesses will sponsor the materials. We plan to keep costs low by doing the labor ourselves as volunteers. 

As time goes on, we will do other phases to this play yard. For example, the shade sails and having seating areas for the volunteers. We would love to have areas for water activities like pools and sprinklers. Different types of platforms and play equipment will also be nice for dogs that need physical therapy. 

This space will be available to all animals in RPAW Rescue, even foster homes. We would love to be able to open it up to other organizations that would like to have access as well as have events in this space.
