Your generous financial support of Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund and the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic helps provide vital information to cancer specialists around the world and supports research areas where there is little or no national attention including: advancing DICER1 rare tumor research, preventing cancer treatment side effects and promoting quality of life.  

PTACF and the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic has raised over $6 million for cancer research during its 35-year history, and recently established the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic Endowed Chair in Cancer and Blood Disorders Research in 2020 at Children's Minnesota, naming Dr. Kris Ann Schultz as the inaugural chair. It was only the third ever endowed chair position at Children's Minnesota. Our goal is to endow a fourth chair position and continue the fight against children's cancer, eventually finding a cure.
