PROTECTS - Redwood Area

PROTECTS stands for Providing Resources, Officer Training, Equipment, Canine, and Team Support. We are proud to financially support law enforcement within Redwood County above their annual budgets in order to keep them well equipped to protect the citizens and communities. Items we have funded to date are: Raising funds to purchase a K9 for the Redwood Falls Police Department, ballistic shields for the Redwood County Sheriff's Office, computer equipment for the Morgan Police Department, and we are currently working to raise funds for less lethal and de-escalation equipment for the RCSO. Above and beyond financial support, we also work to build and maintain relationships between officers, deputies, and the community through hosting events that promote networking and safety (Seat belt campaigns for high schoolers, coffee with a cop, etc).
