  • a larger cast, including a chorus
  • an expanded chamber orchestra
  • improved tech and sound
  • commissioned set pieces, backdrops, and costumes from Minnesotan designers

on the lake!

Help us make our creative dreams a reality: make a tax-deductible donation today!

Planning is underway for our Summer 2024 season, and it is going to be incredible! Look forward to another Viennese operetta, Minnesota-style, at the Como Lakeside Pavilion as well as a lakes region tour of our hit Die Lustige Witwe production. Let's spread the perfect mixture of top-notch singing, story-telling, humor, and that bubbly charm only Opera on the Lake can deliver.

Why Donate?

Putting on a show takes time, talent– and money. From set pieces to costumes, from musicians’ fees to renting out rehearsal space, it all adds up quickly.

Simply put, we need your contributions to make all of this possible.

What's more, your tax-deductible gift keeps our ticket prices low, ensuring that everyone can experience the magic of opera.

You saw what we were able to achieve with Die Lustige Witwe (2022), Die Fledermaus (2019) our Operetta Under the Stars (2021) concert series, and last summer's smash hit Die Csárdásfürstin. And all of that on a shoestring budget! Just imagine what we could achieve with more resources.

Donate today and help us continue to deliver first-rate, world class opera performances in true Minnesotan style- on the lake!

Thank You!
