31st Annual Made in the Shade

On Saturday, September 17th, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, PAI is co-producing with six other agencies a fun, fully-accessible, and non-competitive roll/walk/run event at Lake Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis. Made in the Shade is inclusive, dignified, and shows how important we all are in celebrating and engaging people with a range of abilities and mobilities. In addition to recreation, activities include games, music, special guests, an art contest, and there will be delicious food too!
To make sure everyone in our community can be part of Made in the Shade and to take advantage of PAI's home turf, they have added a kick-off event from 10:00 am to noon on Friday, September 16th at PAI-Linden and people are invited to go around a warm-up course, pick up event t-shirt(s), and enjoy music, photo booth fun, and a tasty ice cream treat.
People are welcome to attend either or both events for one donation.* We hope you will join us in bringing meaning and joy to the hundreds of participants, families, friends, neighbors, and caregivers who will safely gather in community for the first time in a long while.
