Basic Needs Fundraiser to keep our Food Pantries Stocked for Minnesota West Students

$725

raised by 9 people

$5,000 goal

At any one time, at least a third of community college students experience food insecurity. Believe it or not, hunger is at an all-time high on our campuses. In 2020, Minnesota West established food pantries to help students in need.  These pantries exist on each of our campuses and have been stocked with non-perishable food items, diapers and personal items with generous gifts from donors.  However, this is a continuous need.  We all need a helping hand from time to time. Together, we can provide a solution.

In order to do this, we need your support.  On Give to the MAX day, we need to raise $5,000 to purchase grocery items to keep our pantries full when that time comes.  At Minnesota West, we believe that everyone, regardless of their situation, should have the opportunity to choose and access food and basic needs items to support their nutrition and well-being.

With your donation by midnight, November 17th, we can respond to the specific needs of our students and ensure they have what they need to live happy and healthy lives.

Thank you!
