Minnesota Vixen WFA Football Fundraiser

Hello and thanks for supporting the Minnesota Vixen and the Women's Football Alliance (WFA)!

We strive to provide a unique opportunity for female and non-binary athletes to play full-contact football at a highly competitive level with other WFA teams from across the country.  Established in 1999, the Vixen are the longest continuously operating women’s tackle football team in the nation.  The league plays full contact, tackle football following NCAA rules and has over 60 teams across the nation. 

The Vixen compete at the WFA's highest level, Division 1, with the best teams in the nation. We take pride in playing high caliber tackle football and being role models both on and off-the-field.  We celebrate women of all shapes, sizes and athletic ability as part of our team.  The ages range from 18-48 years young and range in size from 120 ponds to …well, a lot more than that.  We are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, wives, girlfriends, nurses, teachers, personal trainers, military personal, students, warehouse workers and so much more.  We all come from different backgrounds, but we share a love of football and come together as one team! 

Unfortunately, women's sports are not as well funded as their male counterparts. We off-set the cost through ticket and merchandise sales as well as fundraisers like these. Our athletes are not paid and infact must provide their own equipment and raise funds to play. We are currently raising $5000 to go towards practice time in domes here in the Twin Cities.
