Megan Coit's Miles for Smiles

The saying, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” has always resonated with me. This fall, I’m making that quote a reality by trekking 72 miles over part of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, in order to raise awareness and funds for the non-profit Smile Network International. 

As trekkers, every penny that we fundraise goes to sponsor surgeries for children on upcoming Smile Network International surgical missions; we trekkers cover all of our expenses for this trip.  For as little as $500 and in just 45 minutes, Smile Network International is able to repair a child’s smile and restore joy and dignity to their lives.
