Marshmallow needs to see the university specialists in Madison for a recurring jaw abscess!

In October, we were contacted about Marshmallow, a sweet little ball of fluff in a lot of pain. An abscess in his mouth was being treated by the owners at home, and he was brought to the shelter when they couldn’t cure it. After some x-rays, it was found that he had a broken tooth, and the infection had spread into his jaw. With an MCRS foster home providing care, our vets removed the tooth and have been treating the infection. The abscess has returned, so Marshmallow needs to see the university veterinary specialists in Madison to find the root cause and treat it permanently.

Your support makes this possible! Whether you are a foster, a volunteer, an adopter or a donor, you have helped MCRS say ‘yes’ to rabbits like Marshmallow!
