What is STEAM programming? Great question! STEAM programs engage students in hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. Our teachers use the STEAM programs as an extension of our science and math curricula, giving students the opportunity for hands-on activities that emphasize the application of scientific concepts as we experience them in our daily lives.
Marine Village School students love to participate in the STEAM programs! Your donation would allow us to purchase a 3D printer and dissection supplies to enhance the activities already happening in this exciting space.
Support Art at Marine Village School
Marine on St. Croix has a rich and vibrant art community and our students have a passion to create! At MVS, we encourage students to use all sides of their brain, and lessons in the arts promote imagination, creativity and introduce students to problem solving techniques which help them see the world in new ways. Your financial support will help supply our students with paper, paint, easels, scissors, clay, yarn, and many other art supplies, as well as supporting an artist-in-residence program.
