March of Dimes has NICU Family Support Programs at Children’s Minnesota and Masonic Children’s Hospital. These two providers have over 300 beds and impact thousands of families in our community. The COVID pandemic has unearthed a technology gap felt by these NICUs and Minnesota families.
NICUs need technology right now to keep parents of premature babies connected to their families, essential support services and innovative education platforms during a time they need it most.
Our Give to the Max Day goal: 30+ tablets
For every $1,000 in donations received, a tablet will be donated to these local NICUs.
Any donation, any size is appreciated and count towards our overall goal!

Today, and every day, two women will die due to pregnancy related causes
1 in 10 babies are born too soon
Prematurity is the number one cause of infant death--Two babies each day.
These numbers are disproportionately higher in woman and babies of color.
March of dimes has pivoted our work during the global pandemic to provide services at no cost to new and expectant mothers;
Weekly Facebook live panels to address COVID 19 and other maternal health issues
Blog posts, birthing plans, virtualized Supportive Pregnancy Care and NICU Family support
Investing in clinical and maternal immunity research and have 2 RFPs in process
Breast pumps, blood pressure cuffs, face masks and essential baby items donated to families in high critical need areas across the country
Advocating for the passage of key legislation around therapeutics, vaccines and family leave.
Relevant professional trainings for healthcare systems including Implicit Bias training
March of Dimes works in communities across the country to reduce the rising rates of preterm birth as well as maternal and infant mortality and morbidity. We support families before, during and after pregnancy to ensure ALL moms and babies get the best possible start.
