I'm Arianna and I'm walking + fundraising for Secondhand Hounds!

I strongly believe in the vision, mission, and core values of SHH. I am so proud to working for an amazing organization, filled with inspiring people and adorable animals.

In 2017, I adopted my first cat, Nori, from SHH. Nori has brought me so much joy and purpose. Nori has helped me through some dark and anxiou moments. Without SHH, I wouldn't have met Nori, and I can't imagine my life without her. <3

A few months later, I also adopted Penny! My one-eyed chonky girl. She is filled with sweet sass and an appetite for head pets. I adopted her from a college professor who needed someone to adopt from a litter of kittens that all had eye disabilities (most likely from a respiratory infection at birth). While I wasn't looking for another cat, I couldn't say no to her. She is fierce and so full of love. 

Now, fast forward to 2023 - I am working at Secondhand Hounds (!!!) and currently have my first foster cat, Skye. It's so rewarding to know that I am able to support additional animals and give them the love and safety they need before they find their furever home. I have so much love to give and without organizations like SHH, I wouldn't be able to do it.
