In memory of my grandfather, Roger Heegaard, I've raised my goal to $5,000. He believed in The Link and in me, contributing $5,000 every year. 

The reason I support The Link is clear: we believe that youth and their families deserve a safe, stable home. Our mission is to work WITH youth and families to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice. Every action is dedicated to this cause. We see each youth not as a statistic, but as a unique individual adding value to the world. Join me in this effort to end youth homelessness. Every contribution, big or small, makes a huge difference in the lives of these amazing individuals!

What I LOVE about The Link:

• We provide more than 260+ units of housing for youth experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities Metro each night
• Each year, The Link provides innovative and strengths-based services to more than 400 young people who have been involved in the juvenile justice system
• We operate the ONLY emergency shelter in Minnesota for youth of all gender identities experiencing sexual exploitation and/or trafficking
• The Link is a uniquely youth and adult led organization - which means I get to work with and learn from talented and resilient young people every day
