Who We Are: In 2022 LoveMPLS was born out of a vision to transform one of Minneapolis’s most historically disinvested areas into a thriving hub of creativity, opportunity, and generational wealth. Rooted at the intersection of Broadway and Lyndale Avenues, LoveMPLS exists to be a catalyst for healing and economic transformation in partnership with the people and organizations that call North Minneapolis home.

What We Do: The organization’s mission is clear: to build a just, well-connected, and safe community where Black and Brown residents are not just surviving but prospering and leading change. LoveMPLS aims to contribute to a new narrative by centering community voices, restoring hope, and creating pathways for growth that are rooted in dignity and collaboration. For three years our summer arts and youth programming has created safe spaces for youth and families to experience healing and community connection.

with your help, we can expand our summer program to launch our very first Northside Summer Community Cohort(NSCC). An opportunity for youth to explore the culture and tradition of the North Side through career exploration, cultural awareness, art healing and community advocacy. The NSCC will assist transition age youth age 13-24 in building skills and tools needed to gain connection and advocacy as the future of the North Side.
