Give to the Max Day 2023

This year's donations will contribute to the creation of our exhibits for our 2024 season!

Lake Places debuted in 2023 and was an instant hit with museum visitors. It tells the story of "going to the lake," those that make it an annual tradition to head to that little place on the lake. This exhibit was created in partnership with the Douglas County Historical Society and utilized community contributed photos of family memories dating back to the late 1800s.

Due to its popularity, Lake Places is retuning for a second season in 2024, with all new photos and stories.
