MN SNAP (Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program) is a nonprofit veterinary organization focused on keeping Minnesota pets and families together. MN SNAP provides affordable, high-quality spay and neuter services at our headquarters in North Minneapolis as well as via our mobile surgery vehicle, which travels to shelters, rescue groups and underserved communities across the state.

Our mobile surgery vehicle travels all around Minnesota, and we have only seen the need for spay/neuter increase since the pandemic began, especially in rural Minnesota. Families need MN SNAP’s essential services more than ever.

Our current mobile surgery vehicle features a custom leveling system to perform surgeries on a flat surface. That leveling system broke this summer, forcing us to only hold clinics at level locations and postpone/reschedule clinics to continue to meet our growing demand. We need to have the system rebuilt for the safety of our patients and teams and in order to reach the most communities possible. This custom work will cost MN SNAP a minimum of $12,000 in rebuilding and repairs.

We need your support to continue to offer affordable spay/neuter services and core vaccinations. With your donation, we can keep pets with families that love them, stop pet overpopulation, and help Minnesota pets live longer, healthier lives.
