NYM Cultural Center Give to the Max Day 2021

It's Give to the Max Day 2021! And what a year it's been. Living through the pandemic as an arts organization is not for the faint of heart.

Since COVID first hit, we have embraced adaptability and flexibility. We followed guidelines, kept staff employed, and adjusted our programming. We held events virtually, outdoors, and indoors...masked & distanced. We adapted, we pivoted, we CONNECTED.

We were able to do this work thanks to all of YOU! -- our amazing supporters. You all helped us stay positive and reminded us that we are here for and with our community. 

We have always celebrated the local, and your donations helped us continue those efforts. We invested in Minnesota artists and makers, creating "Small Gifts" featuring all MN-made products for the 2020 holiday season (and again this year!). We continue to hire artists for concerts, workshops, classes, and outreach. We continue to adapt to changing guidelines and realities.

Your gift makes a difference. This year, we continue to focus on connections and supporting working artists and community. Through the pandemic in 2020, we still held 108 events for our community. So far in 2021, we have held 152 events. 152 opportunities to gather, to share, to listen, to learn. With your help, we will continue to offer more opportunities for our rural residents.
