Threshold’s mission to produce fresh LGBTQ+ works means we create a place for the voices of the LGBTQ+ community to tell our stories no matter our sexuality, age, race, religion or gender identity through developing and producing the new scripts of living LGBTQ+ playwrights. 

We are excited to celebrate our 4th season 2023-2024!

We kicked things off October 9th with our 3rd Annual Threshold Theater Coming Out Cabaret & Fundraiser - a celebration of both National Coming Out Day and Threshold’s founding and first show in 2019. Thanks to all of you who joined us.

We are thrilled The Black Hart of Saint Paul is continuing to partner with us to host the New Play Reading Series: 

• Monday, November 20, 2023 at 7pm: Mediocre Heterosexual Sex  By Madison Wetzell

• Kicking off Pride Month on Monday, June 5, 2024 at 7pm: Monster Girls At Sunshine Doughnuts By Dani Herd

This spring we will return to the stage for the first time since 2019, with ‘4Play with Threshold Theater’ at the Bryant Lake Bowl. Stay tuned for further details in the coming months!

We know we are only here because of support from the community and we can't do it without you. To continue to produce the New Play Reading Series and our stage productions we are setting a goal of $2,000. This will allow us to continue to pay all the artists we work with: writers, actors, directors and designers.  

As a thank you to our donors: 

$1 to $49: You will be listed in all programs and our website.

$50 to $99: You also get two comps to each New Play Reading Series presentation. 

$100 to $499: You also get a script of each reading, signed by the cast and company. 

$500+: You also get four tickets to ‘4Play with Threshold Theater’
